My specific training is in Psychodynamic Social Work. This is a theory that incorporates elements of psychoanalysis and social work concepts together. It's a fancy term that means, the goal for our sessions together is for you to gain a greater insight into who you are and why you do what you do. This training means that the lens I view my clients through has more of an emphasis on how your current presenting symptoms have a greater meaning beyond what they appear to be, based on your personal history, trauma, and life experiences. The benefit of this approach helps to examine unresolved conflicts that reside in the unconscious mind and their associated symptoms that arise and manifest in your day-to-day lives.

I also have had a long-time interest in Jungian Depth Psychology and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In the future, I will be offering sessions more focused on the concepts within these two bodies of work. If you have any interest in having our sessions focus more on the subconscious mind, dream interpretation, mindfulness, and emotional regulation techniques, please let me know and we can talk more about these concepts in our next session and incorporate them as you see fit.

However, as always, I am here to meet you where you’re at!

Whether that’s a supportive session where you need to talk about a recent triggering event, or a brainstorming session focusing more on the life goals you’re aiming at.

I am here to meet your needs whatever those may be.

“Know all the theories. Master all the techniques. But as you touch a human soul, be just another human soul.” -Carl Jung

I’m a licensed psychotherapist and trauma-informed coach offering virtual support in navigating emotional overwhelm, identity shifts, and relationship healing. I work with both Michigan-based therapy clients and expats worldwide through coaching.

After earning my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Providence College (2014) and then my Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University with a focus on Interpersonal Practice and Psychodynamic Theory (2017), I began my career in community mental health, crisis response, and school-based services. Over the past decade, I’ve supported clients through a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, self-worth, relational stress, and eating disorders.

Now living abroad myself, I bring not only clinical expertise but lived experience to my work with international clients. I understand the disorientation, grief, and quiet identity unraveling that can come with life in a new country, and the beauty that can emerge when we meet those moments with presence and compassion.

My approach blends somatic awareness, mindfulness, and insight-oriented therapy with evidence-based tools like Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I tailor our work to your needs- whether that’s deep healing, boundary work, or practical nervous system support.

You don’t need to be in crisis to ask for help. Whether you’re rebuilding abroad or reconnecting with yourself at home, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out all by yourself.
